Life is Short, So How Will You Live?

“Life is short. Say what you’ve wanted to say. Do what you’ve wanted to do. Don’t wait until the only thing you can say is, I wish I’d had the courage to do it sooner.” – Lori Deschene

Life is such a wonderful gift and God has richly blessed us! But this gift is quite short in the scope of eternity, so let’s make the most of it by living FULLY each day! You might be saying to yourself, “Cynthia, you don’t know my story…”  or perhaps you’re feeling like, “I’m caught in the whirlwind of my life right now” or “I’m struggling deeply emotionally and physically, how can life possibly be such a gift?”

I’m going to tell you how. But first, I want you to prepare a cup of your favorite tea, find a comfortable spot and get ready to get real. As your tea water heats up, I’d like for you to consider these words: Stop allowing yourself to feel trapped like you can’t do anything better. If you feel stuck, the fact of the matter is that you’re choosing to be where you are! God tells us in His Word He can recover that which we’ve lost and move us from hard places into better ones:

“I’ll make up for the years of the locust, the great locust devastation.” – Joel 2:25-26

Reclaim your life! Make the most of your life by imagining the kind of life you really want to live. Consider the great things you want to accomplish using the resources God has given you. Dreaming doesn’t cost you anything. Allow your dreams to give you the courage to imagine things that are worth the remark.

Take back your power! Stand up for yourself and make the most of the time God’s blessed you with. Remember, you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. With God’s help, you have the power to achieve the life you’ve always wanted. Let go of your fears and open your mind to the possibility that YOUR dreams CAN come true regardless of your past failures!

Get ready! Your BEST remarkable life is HERE! Your dream life that is worth the remark is waiting for you to go after it. Don’t let anything stop you or hold you back. Don’t get distracted! Make your decisions with eternity in mind! Stay focused! You have a life to live

  • Tap into what truly matters to you. Maybe your dream is to run your own business, travel the world, or own a piece of land with a modest home. Ponder your greatest wishes and develop a plan to see them become reality.
  • Make your life illustrate your fondest hopes. The best wish you can have for yourself is to daily show yourself and others what your dreams are. In simplistic terms: Live your dreams.
  • Consider creating a 15-minute dreamscape daily to visualize the life of your dreams. I dare you to go back and recapture some of your silly or childish dreams!
  • Share your dream life out loud with a Forever Faithful Friend. Hearing yourself speak about your dream life will inspire you to begin living your life by design and not default! Set some milestone goals to help you get there.

We’re all in this life together, seeking to live our best lives fully. The sooner we give ourselves permission to reclaim our vision or create a new one, the sooner we can move our lives forward. But remember it won’t happen randomly without effort. You must be intentional about living your best life now.

And a great way to get yourself into the mindset for such purposeful action is to make sure you’re at this year’s 2017 Remarkable Woman Conference! Our theme is Reclaiming Your Life! It’s never too late to reset or decide you need to go in a different direction. It’s never too late to say never!

Mark your calendars for November 3-4, 2017 at the Hilton Hotel (North/Midtown) in Raleigh, NC for a two-day weekend you won’t forget with like-minded women of purpose who are choosing to step forward. It’s time to get your life back! Are you ready? Click here for details and to register.
